Minds Matter – Atlantic Rowing Challenge 2020
DS Medical are proud to be sponsors of Hampshire heroes Adam Bundle and Stu Vince as they take on the Atlantic Rowing Challenge 2020.
The Southampton based firefighters will be rowing 3000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean in December to raise money and awareness on mental health within the workplace. The pair are taking on this incredible feat in support of Solent Mind and The Fire Fighters Charity.
As serving firefighters, Adam and Stu have first-hand experience on the turmoil that working in the emergency services can have on your mental health. From having to cope with the loss of colleagues to making regular life or death decisions, all while constantly facing a variety of unimaginable incidents. The undeniable rise in mental health issues within the workplace is a concern for us all, and Adam and Stu are determined to do something about it, for everyone’s benefit.
Adam and Stu are currently preparing for the challenge of a lifetime – it’s going to be a physically and mentally challenging journey as they row from the Canary Islands all the way to Antigua!
The pair aim to raise £100,000 and are edging closer and closer to smashing this goal. With our sponsorship, and your help we can make sure this happens. Donate today to support Adam and Stu in their efforts to help those suffering from poor mental health. Together we can make the world a happier place.
DS Medical have and always will support the emergency services. We take pride in being able to supply emergency response teams with the equipment they need as they work tirelessly to keep our country healthy and safe.
